Discipleship Practices

Learning to Walk His Way Together

Following Christ today requires more than belief. It requires discernment in how we live within a complex world. Power and politics distort discipleship by using faith to influence or control and aligning Christ with systems of power

Christ’s way remains the same: presence, love, invitation and humility. The modern world does not change who Christ is, but it does challenge how we choose to follow Him.

Our Discipleship Practices are designed for individuals and small groups seeking deeper engagement with Scripture through Christ.

Each study emphasizes:

  • Context and interpretation
  • Christ-centered reading
  • Honest discussion
  • Faithful application

These studies are meant to form lives, not enforce conclusions.

Walking His Word

Walking His Word — An Eight-Week Journey of Scripture, Discernment, and Faithful Practice

This eight-week Scripture in Practice series invites individuals and communities into a deeper, Christ-centered way of engaging the Bible and living the Christian faith. Rather than treating Scripture as a fixed rulebook, Walking His Word explores how Christ interprets God’s Word—and how His teachings form communities rooted in love, humility, and justice.

Across eight weeks, participants will practice reading Scripture through Christ, wrestle with moral tension, examine faith’s relationship to power and politics, and learn how to live Christian conviction without coercion. Designed for thoughtful believers navigating a complex world, this series offers space for reflection, dialogue, and faithful discernment—together.
