A Christ-centered community choosing faithful presence over fear, love over control, and truth lived—not enforced.
Who We Are
Walking His Way began out of a shared tension many Christians feel today: a growing gap between the teachings of Jesus and how Christianity is sometimes practiced, politicized, and enforced.
We are Christians committed to discipleship that reflects Christ’s life—His compassion, humility, courage, and refusal to dominate others. We do not gather because we believe we have all the answers, but because we believe faith deepens when it is practiced honestly, questioned faithfully, and lived in community.
This project is intentionally communal. We speak as we because this path is not meant to be walked alone.
Why We Exist
Christianity has too often been reduced to a cultural identity, weaponized for power, or enforced without the compassion Christ embodied.
Walking His Way exists to recover a deeper, truer faith—one centered on Christ rather than fear, control, or dominance.
We believe the gospel still transforms lives. But it does so through love, service, and example—not coercion.
This is not a rejection of Christianity.
It is a commitment to take it seriously.
Our Mission
Walking His Way exists to help faithful disciples of Jesus Christ to live out their faith with integrity, humility, and love—without seeking control over others.
We seek to help Christians practice a Christ-centered faith that is grounded in Scripture, attentive to context, and responsive to the realities of the modern world.
Discipleship, we believe, is shaped by daily practice—not enforced belief.
What We Seek to Form
We are creating a space for Christians who:
- Read Scripture through the life and teachings of Jesus
- Practice faith as a way of life, not a political identity
- Engage the world thoughtfully without fear or domination
- Hold conviction alongside humility
- Love their neighbors without requiring agreement
Faithfulness, for us, is measured by formation—not influence.
What We Refuse
We refuse versions of Christianity that:
- Reduce faith to cultural or national identity
- Treat Scripture as a rigid legal code detached from Christ
- Use political power to enforce belief or morality
- Confuse fear with righteousness
- Dehumanize those who differ in belief, identity, or experience
Faith does not need to be defended through control.
Truth does not require coercion.
How We Live This Mission
Walking His Way lives out this mission through:
- Sermons that read like invitations rather than commands
- Discipleship practices that teach discernment, not certainty
- Essays that engage theology, history, and contemporary life with care
- Community practices grounded in dignity, conscience, and love
We prioritize formation over influence, witness over power, and discipleship over dominance.
Why This Matters
In a world where Christianity is sometimes associated with fear, exclusion, or control, we believe faithfulness looks different.
Jesus did not seek political power.
He formed people.
We believe the Church is at its strongest when it resists domination and chooses presence, service, and love instead.
Our Path
Our hope is not to build an institution, but to cultivate a faithful way of walking—together.
If this path resonates with you, we invite you to walk with us.
Closing Statement
Walking His Way exists to help Christians live their faith honestly, courageously, and compassionately—guided by Christ, grounded in Scripture, and practiced in love.
